Have you ever just felt blah?
We often hear about positive vibes, thinking positively, and when you are angry or frustrated it just sounds like a fairytale or bunch of crap!
The goal of living consciously and controlling your vibrations is not to go from angry or depressed to overjoyed and flying high. The goal is to simply raise your vibration a degree or two.
One method I love to use to help change my vibration is to keep a list of things that illicit feelings of happiness, coziness, and comfort. These can be simple things such as the first sip of coffee in the morning, or they can be memories that when you think of make you smile.
My favorite list includes
- A warm cup of coffee or tea
- The smell of a well loved book
- Fairy lights
- Cuddling with a cozy blanket
- Playing with my children
- The feel of the sun on my skin
- The smell of the ocean breeze
- A great savasana after yoga practice
- A gathering of friends and family
The next time I might be feeling sad, apathetic, or just need a reminder of some things I love, I can look through the list to feel the joy these items bring me.
When I feel more in alignment with these items of joy I find that I attract more joyful experiences.
